Geoff and Pearl are absolutely wonderful! Really accommodating! Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, Breakfast is wonderful, I would be happy to stay here again!
This is a lovely place to stay for a short trip The host Geoff nd Pearl are very welcoming and chatty which I loved.The room that we stayed in was a good size.The bed was comfortable. A television and a kettle was in the room. The Canberra hotel is so central to everything you may want to go shopping centre, beach. As for my Blackpool experience I had a wonderful time Geoff and Pearl helped with that Michelle
Lovely bed and breakfast. The owners were so welcoming. Free parking. Breakfast included, right near the sandcastle park. And near Bentley's chippy which is the best chippy in Blackpool. We were upgraded, so we had a family room with 2 bunk beds and the double. Bathroom was a little small, but we only used it morning and evening. I'd definitely come back.
Great place to stay, good location. Superb Full English and fantastic hosts!!! Stayed for a few nights and had a couple of night caps in the bar! We were well looked after. Thank you, we will be back!
Made a last minute reservation for Canberra and it was amazing. Pearl and Geoff were accommodating and very welcoming The location was ideal as it was away from all the business of Blackpool The room was cosy, clean and perfect for a family of 4. We loved it that much we have booked again for next year. Good location for tram stops Very affordable See you next year!
First time staying, and I don’t think it’ll be my last. Pearl and Geoff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. 2 autistic boys catered for, I have food intolerances and my partner had surgery and was limited to what he could eat and we were all happy and had very lovely breakfasts. Rooms were clean and tidy, well presented. Location was amazing for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the South Pier. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you so much
We stayed over the weekend to get a much needed break. The staff were lovely and we were greeted with a smile, we were given all the pertinent info on the door and hotel at check-in and remaining info was presented nicely in a folder in the room. Free parking is available either by a small on pavement area next to the hotel or via a permit given by the staff for on road parking. The room, while basic came with a cupboard, bedside tables with drawers, TV and toilet with shower. The room was decorated nicely and smelt clean. The only drawbacks were the temperature in the room, due to it being warm in the building and outside, it was a tad warm, not enough to disrupt sleep but something to consider, maybe bring a fan. The second issue was that where our room was, there were some, not nice smells wafting in the windows at times, I'm not sure if they were drains or what. This wasn't overpowering and wasn't distracting but at times it was kinda like "Has someone crapped" etc. Location for us was perfect as we spent a day at pleasure beach and this hotel is only a two minute walk from the pleasure beach, equally so to the south pier and tram stops. Staff wise, we had only taken room only so had minimal interactions but they staff we met were friendly and outgoing. Overall, a 4/5 for us with the smell that wafted in now and again during the night stopping this being the perfect budget weekend getaway. With that being said, we will return in the future.
Spent Easter weekend here and it was a really nice place to stay. Pearl and Geoff were lovely and very accommodating hosts. The rooms were clean and comfortable and felt very homely. Good location, 2 minutes walk from a local spar and Wetherspoons and the seafront. Would stay again
